I guess it's me, but I found this short story odd. It was engaging until it took a very strange turn at the end and I felt like I'd landed in some weird alternate universe. I guess I'll still read the rest of the stories, since they're so short, and I'm curious about how the relationship between the main characters will play out.
Anna is such a stuck up snob, but I love her POV. And even through her POV James is wonderful and you feel for him. I love a happily ever after, so I enjoy this story more as part of the trilogy than standing alone. The whole trilogy is very well written and entertaining!

Boo for being so short
Nice one handed read. I actually would have loved this as a full length novel. Off to read the next bit.
I probably shouldn't rate this since it's not my typical genre. Maybe I'd have enjoyed it more if I had. It was different, I'll give her that.
It was good, I like the "unexpected" factor in this story.
