Trigger is a standalone full length novel, but part of the Black Smoke MC series. This is the rather dark love story of Trigger (Thomas Beaumont) and Cass. It starts with them meeting as teens and follows them through till adulthood. I'm not a fan of flashbacks, to past then to present, but somehow this story worked for me, with a full length story and satisfactory ending. At a very tragic scene in the book, Trigger finds himself faced with having to save Cass, promising to protect her, and that [...]

It's really hard to enjoy a book when there are so many editing mistakes. The main characters name spelt differently many times, characters names mixed up in sex scenes. And I'm sure there was the exact same scenes in all three books. Sorry but I really wasn't impressed with this one.

Thomas "Trigger" had a crap life growing up. When watching Cass, this sweet and beautiful girl get dragged into the bar by her father to be sold,he knew if nothing else, he had to protect her. Even if it meant killing the club pres. On the run, they became fast friends turned lovers. Until he gets locked up. Years later, Cass still can remember the pain of Thomas turning her away after he was arrested, saying to move on. She doubted she'd ever see him again, but years later, her BF Brock is goin [...]

A good read, but not a favorite. So I have to say that for this book it was too busy. It was too much back and forth. The characters would have flash backs of high school and then be back in the present. There were just a few punctuation and grammar errors. When Trigger and Cass met again, her father was giving her to Triggers boss for a debt her owed. To protect her Trigger shot his boss and they ran away together. They lived together for a while fighting the attraction they had for each other. T [...]

I ended this book 75% in which doesn't happen for me often. I just never got that "keep turning the pages" feeling. I'm wondering if it's because I didn't read the first two book. maybe then I would be more invested. I'm going to go back to the beginning and then perhaps I'll pick this up again.

Triggerless Way, way too much unnecessary back story. The story doesn't get with it until almost the end. Cass is one stupid smart female, who just keeps living in a cycle of abuse. Trigger is a cowardly so called biker, who happens to fall into a life of a underground fighter.

One of my new favorite authorsThe turmoil that surrounds these two is crazy. The characters really come to life and you can't help but love Trigger because his heart is in the right place. Great read and I can't wait to read Reign.
